| Making fun of my drawing? you can go suck it... O_O |
Do you want a sudden change of scene? Try something out of the ordinary? Do something new? If you happen to be an introverted home-body just like me, then going to the club scene would be the ideal place to shock your guts out! Here are some things you might need:
- an invitation to cover an event at a club
- friends
- best friend
- some random guys
Duration: for a newb at a club, 4 hours will be enough to drain the life out of you.
1. Have a Friend Invite You To Cover an Event at a Club.
Since you're an introverted home-body, it would make perfect sense to accept an invitation to cover a sponsored event at a night club. You might be thinking that a total change in scene might do you good. After all, you've been using the term "home-body" to justify being a couch potato. This would be a perfect time for you to get your ass off that couch and find something to do that won't bore you death. (Although I want to thank that couch for making my ass a little more plump. At least my stick figure body would finally have some meat on it.)
.....just realized how that sounded like, it wasn't meant to be perverted I swear. -____-
Verbal diarrhea, it happens.
2. Ask Friends to Accompany You.
These friends should definitely be experienced when it comes to engaging in this environment called "Clubbing." There portfolio should include drinkers, heavy party-ers, (partiers?... no spell-check won't allow it) may or may not smoke. You will need them to guide you into the mystical world of "night-time socializing."
3. Bring Your Best Friend with You.
Not just because she's your best friend, but also because you also need someone who is as inexperienced as you are, and you wouldn't want to feel like the only outsider who went to the club for the first time. Reinforcement is needed. If you're gonna look like a fool, at least you're not alone. Have her take pictures that make her look like she is drunk, even though she isn't intoxicated at all. She might leave early to do some work and you will be left alone.
4. Observe the Night Club
Being a typical introvert, it is in your nature to observe things, events and people around you. Notice that the courtship, the mating process rather, is fairly easy when the music is on really really loud and you're all boozed up, even if you can barely speak to the person next to you. Apparently it only takes a certain "look" or "stare" to get "some of that" if you know what I mean. *winks*
There definitely was some handsome guy who had all the ladies staring and dancing around him. He absolutely had no problems in picking any women he wanted. Start hoping he'd ignore them all and notice you. Realize it's just wishful thinking.
5. Eventually Start Noticing that there ARE Guys Giving You the "Stare".
*ALERT ALERT ALERT!!!* Start fretting when some guys are trying to give you the "stare". Start wishing you were somewhere else, where your personal space isn't being invaded. Realize it's stupid to want people to respect your personal space when you went into a club that is jam-packed with strangers almost rubbing shoulders with each other. -____- Damn it!
6. Avoid Making Eye Contact.
This should be fairly easy since it is a night club, and it is, of course, dark and would be close to impossible to make eye contact with anyone. HOWEVER, there are those who are persistent enough to try and hold your attention by giving you the "stare." Try avoiding eye contact by looking at the ceiling, at the floor, or turning your back from them. You wouldn't want to stare back and give them the idea that you are "interested" as well. If none of that works, try closing your eyes. I guess that's obvious enough to signal a huge "NO, it's not gonna happen".
7. Let Your Introvertedness Kick-In
It's almost 2am but obviously to most of them, the night is still young. However for an introverted person like you, you've had enough of this club jungle, and your batteries are spent. It's time for you to go home and have your recharge by spending some quality time alone.
While exiting the club, have a bunch of perverted guys try to grope you before you reach the door. -____-
Did you enjoy? For the most part yes, but only to a certain extent.
Was it exciting? It was different, nice, and new. It was exciting... minus the staring and groping part.
Would you do it again? Maybe... why not? With the right company of course.

Interesting post ;)
